Marianne and Christophe Schertz settled down in Wengelsbach over 25 years ago to run the Restaurant au Wasigenstein. They then started offer their first vacation rental. Over the year more lodgings have been acquired to form the Gîtes du Wasigenstein.

Wengelsbach is a charming little hamlet, nested in the heart of the Regional Park des Vosges du Nord. The landscape presents forests, hills, small rock formations and small castles and ruins. This little alsacian village lays on the german border and is a small hour away from Strasbourg.
The restaurant au Wasigenstein is a traditional french restaurant. It offers small dishes and fine dinning at a fair price.
